The historic Linnunpää Manor near Turku, mentioned in history books since the Middle Ages, is now for sale!
A glance at the map reveals why people already settled in this Linnunpää region as early as the 14th century. The manor is located near Turku, nestled in the sheltered innermost part of the long Peimari Bay / Paimio Inlet. In those times, this location made it easy to farm, fish, and trade, and it still does.
Today, the estate covers approximately 320 hectares, consisting of around 290 hectares of land and 30 hectares of private water area. Of the land, 130 hectares is drained farmland, mostly surrounding the main farm center, and 115 hectares is productive forest. According to the current forest management plan, the forest contains approximately 13,000 m³ of pulpwood and 11,000 m³ of saw timber. The estate also includes two shoreline plots with building rights according to the local shoreline plan. The property features about 1 km of shoreline facing southeast, south, and west. A stunning feature of the estate is Papinvuori, a hill rising directly from the water’s edge with breathtaking views across the surrounding landscape, the feeling is akin to being somewhere else in Finland, where the rocky terrain forms a dramatic, almost national landscape.
The beautifully maintained grounds of Linnunpää Manor, with its buildings, pond, and old trees, form an exceptionally beautiful whole. It is evident that the estate has been lovingly cared for throughout the centuries. The main building was reconstructed in the early 1960s and remains in excellent condition. The house and its technical systems have been renovated and updated in the 2000s by the current owner with great respect for its heritage. Major renovations, including drainage and stormwater systems, as well as modernizations of the building’s interior, were carried out between 2013 and 2015. The building underwent a condition inspection in 2025. There are five buildings currently rented out, while the remaining 18 buildings in the courtyard primarily serve the estate's upkeep and operations.
If you feel that this unique Linnunpää Manor might be your dream, please don’t hesitate to for more information or to request a private viewing.

Welcome to explore this unique Empire-style villa that combines cherished history with modern-day comfort.
Built in 1840, the villa is located in Somero, embraced by Lake Hirsjärvi and the Paimio River, in an area classified as regionally valuable. Views over the lake, river, forests, and fields create an environment where peace and dignity go hand in hand.
The courtyard exudes tradition and history. Shaded by old deciduous trees, the lush lawn and carefully tended plantings make the setting both impressive and inviting. The approximately 2.1-hectare plot borders the water with nearly 600 meters of shoreline. On the grounds, you will find, among other things, a pavilion/summer kitchen completed in 2021, two separate lakeside saunas, a garage and storage building, as well as a charming granary.
The main building, about 350 m², is constructed from solid log walls, and its architecture combines the elegance and practicality typical of the Empire style. A glass veranda, added in 2011, invites you to enjoy the scenery in every season.
Inside, history and the present merge seamlessly: high ceilings, large windows, wooden floors, and multiple fireplaces create an atmosphere complemented by modern solutions. The downstairs spaces are well-suited for entertaining, quiet reading moments, and relaxed gatherings alike. The spacious and bright kitchen blends a traditional look with modern conveniences, while the bathroom and sauna facilities add a touch of luxury with both a bathtub and saunas.
This villa is a truly unique entity – offering its buyer not only a permanent or holiday home, but also a piece of the area’s rich cultural heritage and history.
Welcome home.

Peace, privacy, and luxurious living in the world’s most beautiful archipelago, at the end of a road in Turku’s archipelago, in Parainen. This island paradise awaits you just outside the Parainen Gate, at the southern tip of Sorpo island, on a beautiful plot bordering the Archipelago Sea National Park. The lot opens to the west, facing sunsets year-round. The sun can be enjoyed throughout the day on the many terraces, lounging areas, and the pier. The location of this archipelago retreat is truly exceptional: just two short ferry crossings away, accessible by car year-round, guaranteed privacy thanks to the adjoining private plot, and on the other side, a protected national park area with no buildings. Once you arrive, you’ll find that this villa offers everything one could imagine from an island retreat – from small luxurious details to advanced technical solutions. Interior-Wise, the villa could not be more perfect. Designed by Honkarakenne, the house features top-quality systems throughout: comprehensive home technology, window protections, and a security system. Geothermal heating, a private well, and year-round road maintenance all make this a brilliant hideaway for every day of the year. The list of impressive and practical details is long: well-kept pathways between the buildings, stunning outdoor lighting, a cozy grill spot at the southern tip of the island, a fenced vegetable garden, a fully equipped summer kitchen, a solid pier built to withstand winter, and even the option to create swimming beaches. Winter brings a snow-covered archipelago landscape and ski trips on the frozen sea. Spring arrives with its first warming rays and lengthening days. Summer is enjoyed on the terraces, in the covered dining area, in the warmth of the hot tubs, or in the refreshing sea water. Autumn brings a peaceful silence colored by the changing leaves. Each season offers unique and unforgettable experiences in this paradise. The sounds and rush of the city feel like they belong to another world. Archipelago estates of this size and with such an optimal location are rare in Finland today. Considering also the possibility of approx. 200 m² of additional construction on the neighboring plot, this is truly a unique place. The distance from Turku is about 60 km – roughly an hour’s drive. If Skagsudden is to become your new holiday paradise, or even your new home, please get in touch for more information and to book a private viewing.
